Reserving your Stay at Crystal Hotels

    A: Check-in starts at 2:00pm (late check-in available) and check-out is by 11:00am.  You can drop off your key when leaving in the key drop boxes at the Alpine Inn, Quicksilver Lodge,  and the registration office at the Village Inn.

  • A:  Wi-Fi is available for guests of the Quicksilver Lodge and Alpine Inn in their respective hotel lobbies, there is free public Wi-Fi in the Snorting Elk and Alpine Restaurant.

  • Q: Which hotels does Crystal Hotels operate?
    A:  Crystal Mountain Hotels operates all 3 hotels, all located at the base of Crystal Mountain, walking distance from the Gondola.  The 3 hotels are the Alpine Inn, the Quicksilver Lodge, and the Village Inn. View a Map of the hotels here.
  • Q:  What is the distance of the hotels from each other and the Gondola?
    A:  5-minute walk.
  • Q:  What is the distance from the grocery store?
    A:  There is a small market at the base area for nonperishable items. There is a small market with a selection of frozen gourmet dinner and other convenience items 8 miles down the road at Alta Crystal Resort. Greenwater, a 30-minute drive, has a gas station with a general store.  The major supermarkets are located in Enumclaw, a 45-minute drive or Packwood  (1 hour).
  • Q:  How do you get to Mt Rainier from Crystal Mountain?
    A:  Mt. Rainier National Park entrance is located just 6 miles from Crystal Mountain on Highway 410. This entrance accesses Chinook Pass, Cayuse Pass, Sunrise and White River and continues on to Paradise over Cayuse Pass. Paradise is 1.5 hours driving through Mt. Rainier National Park in the summer and 3+ hours in the winter due to pass closures.

    A:  It varies per season, Please check with the front desk.  Typically in winter it opens 11 daily and in the afternoon in summer.

    A:  Sunrise Lodge is open during summer months with snack bar type items including soft-serve ice cream.

    A:  You can purchase a Trail Lunch from the Alpine Inn Restaurant which typically consists of made-to-order sandwhich, snack bar, fruit, chips and water. Order in advance and you can pick up at breakfast.

    A:  There are hiking trails, starting right at the base of Crystal Mountain!  Please ask at the front desk for current trail conditions. Please see attached hiking map for Crystal Mountain area.  Mt Rainier National Park is a hiker’s paradise!  Please visit our hiking page to learn more.
  • Q:  Where can I find information on the weather forecast?
    A:  Please look on our weather page for information on the forecast and conditions.  Remember to be prepared for all weather conditions regardless of the forecast as you are in the mountains. Thunderstorms and rapid weather changes are not uncommon.
