This summer has brought about a big change, they have been working tirelessly to implement a new snow making system on the lower part of the ski hill. They have added 28 new snow making guns to make a total of 36. The addition of this new snow making equipment will ensure that, with appropriate temperatures, they can keep a steady snow pack on the lower hills and increase the chances of opening on Thanksgiving weekend. The snow guns have been placed on the Discovery Meadow, Quicksilver, Tinkerbell, Broadway and Upper Arwine’s, with plans to add more to the Forest Queen and up Lucky Shot to the Summit in the years to come!
